Golf courses are some of the most beautiful places in the world. The view as you as you get ready to tee off can be breath taking; the hills, the lakes and the flowers and the trees. Did I mention the trees? Sometimes those magnificent trees happen to be in just the wrong place, for your slightly off line shot. You know this shot. You are only 150 yards out and your ball is siting up nicely, but unfortunately it lies under that 100 year old oak with the overhanging branches.
You have a couple of choices. You can chip out and get it back in play – sometimes the best solution, or you can go for it, if you know how. Mike Dero in our continuing series “Things You Can’t Learn On The Range”, will show you how to hit the knockdown shot, and with enough loft to get it up in the air and hopefully land it in the vicinity of the green.
