If you watched the 2017 Travelers Championship then you saw some wonderful shots. Of course there was Spieth’s miraculous bunker shot to win the tournament, but there were also some very delicate shots from the deep rough around the green. And those shots are way more difficult for we everyday golfers, than a bunker shot – since we are just happy if it gets out of the bunker.

From the deep rough around the green we can easily visualize 3 shots: the bladed shot that goes screaming across the green; the touch shot that lands 3 feet in front of you, still in the rough; and the very unlikely shot that lands softly and rolls to the hole. In this video Chris Ryan improves your odds of making the unlikely shot more likely.
